Recipe
Cut limes into wedges of 4 and slice cucumber thinly. In a cocktail shaker, muddle lime, cucumber, basil and sugar. Add gin and fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for 8 - 10 seconds and double strain into a tall Collins glass filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with Basil leaf, lime wedge and cucumber slice.
Pro Tip
Using bigger ice cubes in a cocktail like this will result in a better tasting libation. Small ice cubes tend to melt and shatter during the shaking process which results in a diluted cocktail.
